This week has been all about celebrating Bennett's 16th birthday-dinners, presents,party...yet I continue to recieve the updates about Acacia Village...There's such an amazing contrast between these 2 worlds and yet our family is a part of both. While we are fundraising and finalizing the construction of Acacia Village, CWF organized a FOOD FOR KIDS drive on the site. $38,000 was raised feed hungry kids as well as train the adults about child care, health and other helpful information...I sent our first check from our coffee sales to CWF this week...it feels so good to be able to enjoy our life and celebrate it, while still doing our part to continue to help these children in need. www.christianworld foundation.org/food4kids
God has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes through which God's compassion for the world are to look out; yours are the feet with which he is to do good; and yours are the hands with which he is to bless us.
