Tess as a Princess at Halloween in October, 2008.I can't begin to imagine the changes Tess has had to process in the last 3 months. Her life must be unrecognizable even to herself. She has completely adapted to life here and is thriving!!
We keep a file of all the original photos we received while we were waiting to travel to Ethiopia to pick her up. When we face some of our challenges we look at these photos and remind ourselves of what this little girl came from and the amazing journey she is on...
...but rest assured she has adjusted just fine...we are shopping for a new car and she did not hesitate to let us know that she wants the one with the DVD player in the back of the car headrests!!!...

How can it only be 3 months? It seems like Tess has been a part of all of our lives for so much longer. She has grown so much and in so many ways. She is such a beautiful girl. We are so honored to know her!
