Tess had Cat in the Hat day at school. She loved everything but the green eggs and ham. She did not try them...can't blame her. She also was excited to spend part of the day in 2nd grade. We have decided to let her do part of her day (socail studies and something else) with the 2nd graders in order for her to start to know some of the kids so that her transition to 3rd grade next fall is easier. She really had fun and asked if she could do it again. I'm glad she is all for it.

Cat in the Hat day @ school
Tess had Cat in the Hat day at school. She loved everything but the green eggs and ham. She did not try them...can't blame her. She also was excited to spend part of the day in 2nd grade. Hello. I found your blog when I was looking up flight info. We are a family of five who are adopting a boy from Ethiopia through CWA. Hopefully, we will pick him up this Spring/Summer. On our journey to Ethiopia, we are hoping to spend some time in Rome as you did but I thought that there was only a refueling in Rome through Ethiopian Airlines. How were you able to spend time there?
The kids and I really enjoyed the pictures on your blog. They have fueled excitement for our journey.
